Two liquor barons, both arch rivals in life and in business, run their own empire in a village. The whole village is divided into two and there is constant killing and unrest in the village. Wanting to end this rivalry and lead a peaceful life, the wives of both the barons want their children, Arimath and Preetha to marry each other. The lover's run away but are chased by a goon and a paid killer Dharma, hired by the liquor barons and told by him to return to their respective homes. Arimarth challenges Dharma to kill their love if possible and Dharma accepts the challenge. The remaining part of the movie showcases the various strategies, some of them brutal, Dharma adopts to separate the lovers and kill the tender feeling in them. Will Arimarth be able to stand his stead or will he succumb to the pressure?
