K.J. Dream Ventures' Aseema is the story of a divorced woman who brings up her daughter single-handedly. Aseema (Gracy Singh) teaches in a college and stays in a rented room of the house owned by Mishra, who has a young son, Vik ram. One day, Mishra brings home a friend, Abhijeet (Siddhant Moha' patra), who is actually Aseema's former husband. He had left her to marry her friend, Suman (Nisha Parulkar). Aseema wants to get as far away from Abhijeet as she can and so, she immediately seeks a transfer and shifts to another town. In the new place, she makes friends with Manjula (Namrata Thapa) who introduces her to Dr. Ishwar (Aseem Merchant). Manjula considers Dr. Ishwar as her brother.
